Motion Capture

Motion capture adds weight, timing, and physicality that is difficult to achieve through keyframe animation alone.

Using a Rokoko motion capture setup together with Unreal Engine, I create character animation for cinematics, trailers, cutscenes, previs, and real time productions. The workflow allows for fast iteration and natural movement while still leaving room for manual polish, cinematic staging, and animation refinement.

The setup is built for flexible production and character driven storytelling rather than large scale volume capture. This makes it especially useful for indie productions, smaller teams, and cinematic projects where speed, atmosphere, and believable performance are important parts of the final result.

Motion capture is often combined with camera work, lighting, environment production, and animation cleanup to create sequences that feel cohesive, grounded, and cinematic.
